Package Management
ASP.NET Zero React UI uses pnpm (preferred) or NPM to manage front-end library dependencies (like React and Ant Design). The pinned pnpm version is declared in package.json under the packageManager field, so pnpm 10+ (or Corepack, if you run corepack enable) activates the correct version automatically. You can easily add, update, or remove packages using the command line interface.
pnpm 10 or newer is required. pnpm-specific settings (such as shamefullyHoist) are kept in the pnpm-workspace.yaml file next to package.json, because pnpm 11 only reads authentication and registry settings from .npmrc. If you need to change a pnpm setting, edit pnpm-workspace.yaml; see pnpm settings for the available options.
